Kasturi Shah is an undergraduate student studying Physics at Princeton University in the United States. She lives in Mumbai, India. In high school, Kasturi volunteered at a rehabilitation centre for destitute and abused girls in Maharashtra, India. She also volunteered at a school for physically and mentally handicapped children. Kasturi is one of the co-founders of PiCreate – a project that provides affordable computers with offline educational content to students in developing countries. On campus, she plays rugby for Princeton University’s Club Rugby Team and is the team’s President. Kasturi is also currently co-Project Manager of Engineers without Borders’ Peru program, which is providing potable water via a gravity-fed water system to a small village in Samne.
